146 KM ROULEUR
ON GRAVEL & LOTS OF ICE
August 16, 2025. Time: 08:00
Hansens Cykelløb was the first race that combined 146 km of gravel cycling with a gastronomic experience. The race is based on the Danish tradition of good, clean ingredients & bike races in the most beautiful nature.
Hansens Cykelløb offers an experience for life in the company of our beautiful Danish nature. We are taken through fjords, forests, over fields and consists of 146 beautiful km divided into sports gravel, soft single-tracks and a little asphalt in between. The race can be run as a race with a tight chain, but preferably with one hand on the handlebars, loose thread and lots of enjoyment.
THE ROUTE
We start at the Hansens dairy in Jægerspris and from here we go out on a fantastic stretch through the Middle Zealand nature.

PARTNERS OF HANSENS
THE HISTORY
As Denmark's oldest ice cream factory, Hansen's Ice Cream places a high value on tradition. And a central part of the tradition at Hansens Ice cream is cycling.
“At the time Hansens Ice Cream was still called Frederiksborg Ice Cream, it was our great-grandfather Hans Hansen who was at the helm. And he loved cycling. He actually loved cycling so much that year after year he arranged and sponsored bike races in Jægerspris to celebrate the summer. We want to revive that tradition. ”

WE RECOMMEND
Hansens cykelløb is an all surface bike race - we ride where there is the most beautiful and least traffic. We ride on asphalt, gravel and light single-tracks - it is best ridden on a cyclo-cross bike, or a cross-over with similar properties. A Gran Fondo or regular racing bike with rough or wide tires can also easily work. A mountain bike is also an option, but it can feel heavy on the long asphalt stretches, and there will be no technical tracks suitable for this.
