FAQ
Can you participate in anything other than a gravel bike?
Yes you can, it is of course most optimal with a gravel / CX bike, but you can participate in both mtb and racing bike as well. It is not allowed with E-bikes of any kind.
Where is there Parking?
It will be possible to park immediately behind the Dairy at the Start / Finish area.
Can everyone participate in Hansen's Cykelløb?
Yes, everyone can participate, you just have to be aware that the route is more demanding than if it was a road race, so it is a good idea to train ahead of the race.
Is there cut-off time on the race?
No, there will be a rear guard following the last participant on the route.
If you leave the race, is there a possibility of pick-up?
No, it is not possible, so therefore be as well prepared as possible, both participant + bike.
Where is it possible to pick up your start number?
Approx. 2 weeks before the race it will be possible to pick up your start number at Velo Pave, Hovedgaden, Farum until the evening before the race. As well as in the morning before starting at the Start Area.
What happens if I get a damage to my equipment?
Hansen's Cykelløb cannot be held accountable for damaged equipment as a result of participating in the race.
Are there foodstations on the route?
Yes there are foodstations throughout the route and with lots of delicious ice cream + liquid and food. If there are special wishes for energy intake, please bring your own in addition to the contents of the foodstations. There will be a total of 4 foodstations on the route.
Is it possible to buy hoses during the race?
Yes, there will be so-called "Hose Riders" who ride in the race, where it will be possible to buy extra hoses at a favorable price. As well as the opportunity to buy at the start and in the foodstations. Bring at least 2 pcs. extra hoses from Start.
Is it possible to store a bag in the Start area?
Yes, a place will be designated for storing bags incl. start number, but it will be at your own risk.
Is a Bicycle Computer needed to follow the route?
No, the route will be marked with small pink flags and there will be routeguards at strategic locations along the way. As well as Marshalls / TOs at places with poor visibility. But it is a really good security to have a computer on the bike in case of sabotage on the route.
Is it possible to re-register your participant number?
Yes, it is possible to transfer / re-register your participant number, you just have to do it on Sportstiming.dk via your order code which is on the receipt. It is also possible to sell your number on Hansen's Cykelløb's FB page.
When is the route published?
Approx. 1 week before the race as there may still be changes in the course of the route, either from municipalities or landowners.
When do you receive a race briefing?
Everyone who has registered and entered the correct email address will receive a race briefing the week before the race.
